Unlike a vaccine, not everyone has experienced colonic irrigation. We’ll then ask you to change into a gown and lie face down on a treatment bed. A certified colon hydrotherapist will then gently insert a disposable speculum, connected to a hose, into the anus. This instrument will release warm, distilled water throughout the colon, which pushes fecal matter out of the body through the hose. The goal of the treatment is to cleanse the colon of hardened, toxic fecal matter to promote healing and overall wellness.

Patients sometimes feel a bit of discomfort in the abdomen during the procedure, but extreme pain is not common. Following proper colon hydrotherapy preparation can help your comfort level during the procedure.

Brushing the skin with a hard bristle brush, 2-3 times a week, can also stimulate the circulatory system and rid the body of toxins.
